The listing says monsters spawn every wave and that you build a base to survive them. It does not publish wave numbers, enemy names, spawn counts, or a shop currency. Use the rhythm below with the pieces and resources you can actually see.
Between waves
- Walk the approach from the side monsters use. Look for a gap that skips your blocking line.
- Repair that line before you buy or place anything new.
- Check that a second piece still covers the lane if the first one breaks.
- Keep a reserve. If the last wave cracked the entrance, the reserve is for that entrance, not for a new wing.
- Expand only after a clean wave, and only by lengthening or thickening the same approach. Seal the new section before you stop.
The expensive mistake is spending the entire reserve on a side project while the entrance is still broken. Autosave will remember both the hole and the side project.
During a wave
Watch the entrance, not the most dramatic effect.
- Fix a hole that opens a path into the core first.
- Fix the tile that exposes your only damage piece second.
- Ignore cosmetic chips until the wave ends.
- If you cannot reach the outer line safely, use the inner fallback from Build a base instead of standing in the breach.
No public source lists monster hit points, speeds, or resistances. If a wave suddenly feels heavier, stop expanding and put the next spend on the lane you already have. Do not invent a counter for an enemy name you have not seen in this place.
Solo attention versus a full server
Alone, your attention is the limit. Keep the footprint small enough that you can see the entrance and reach it.
With friends, attention is less scarce than agreement. One person should be allowed to call the repair. Everyone else should not open a new gate during the wave. Jobs are in Co-op.
After several clean waves
Move the base toward the offline check in Offline defense. A lane that only survives because you repair it every few seconds will fail when you log out, because the official pitch is that the base keeps fighting without you.
When a fight lasts longer, hits harder, or ignores the lane you prepared, treat it as a boss scout and switch to Bosses. Do not assume a scheduled boss wave number. None has been published.
Practice set
- Clear waves while refusing to expand. Only repair and thicken the entrance.
- Add one extra coverage piece on that same entrance.
- Clear more waves and repair early, while the damage is still small.
- Run the logout walk.
- Only then extend the lane by a short sealed stretch.
